Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Circuit XT roof bike rack, part number TH526XT. Now as you can see, we already have our bike securely mounted to the rack. Now there's going to be no frame contact. You're going to have two points of contact, one back here on the wheel, which you do have a padded strap here so you don't have to worry about any damage to your wheels or anything else. To release it, simply push in on the button and push the strap out of the way. On the front, we have this lever where the skewers are going to sit. more

Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Nissan Maxima- Video

Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MountainTrail rooftop bike carrier, part number RBC035. Now we already have our bike up here and we'll go ahead and show you how it goes on. There's not going to be any frame contact, so you don't have to worry about your bike being scratched. On the rear, we have one wheel strap. To take it off, simply push in on the tab and feed the strap out. Now here on the front we have a cam-style action lever; quick-releases the bike from the skewers, and we can pull it right off. Now I do want to mention that, along with the mounting hardware, where the bikes mounts to the rack, it is fully adjustable so it can accommodate different length bikes. more

Thule Big-Mouth Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Nissan Altima- Video

Today on our 2017 Nissan Altima, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack, it actually grips it by the frame of your bike here. It is padded so to make sure that your bike itself doesn't get scratched up once it's being installed. It also has two wheel straps, both the front and the rear. Then at the front here, you have this portion that you can install a lock core, so once you install the bike, you can lock it into place and secure it to the rack itself. more

With the bike rack installed as it is, there's not going to be any issues of clearance between the trunk and bike rack itself, as you can see here. Today on our 2017 Nissan Altima we're going to be test fitting the Rocky Mounts Brass Knuckles Roof Bike Rack, part number RKY1202. We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off how the bike actually attaches to the rack, we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead it grips it by three points. We're going to have this padded wheel hook up at the top here, and these points here which gives us its name, the brass knuckles to tighten it down, and then we have these two wheel straps at the front and the rear. The wheel straps are adjustable to their points to fit different sized bikes, and with the bike rack in this current position we're not going to have any clearance issues between the bike rack itself and the trunk as you can see here. Now here at the front we have a locking skewer which is going to secure our forks into place .. We'll step up here and to release that we're going to pull on the black handle and then to tighten it we'll rotate towards the back and loosen it towards the front. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we are doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA389. We already have our bike in place. We're first going to show you how we secured that down, then we will go over some features. At the back and at the front, we're going to have that tire hold. We also have a wheel brace up at the top. It just holds our bike tire down in place. With our back one, it actually has a ratcheting mechanism here at this box. If we have our key there, we can lock our bike in our bike rack safely in place, and not have to worry about theft and tampering. To actually release our bike, we're going to open that box up and push it back. more

Rhino Rack Road-Warrior Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Frontier- Video

Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Road Warrior Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that's part number RBC036. As you can see I've already got it mounted on top of the Frontier using the Rhino Rack Aero Crossbar Roof Rack, it fits nicely. The bike rack's going to secure our bike in two spots, we've got this rear wheel strap here that just kind of ratchets down and keeps it on the tray. Now on the front, we've got a quick release 9mm skewer. It's real easy to use, just tighten down your lever here, and it kind of locks the fork in over here on the skewer, and then you just clip it in place. As you can see it's nice and secure, and it's not going to go anywhere. Let's go ahead and take the bike off. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that's part number RBC035. I've already got it loaded up with a bike on it, just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like on the Frontier. On the Frontier we're using the Rhino Rack Crossbars, so you can see how the bike rack fits nicely. The bike rack secures our bike in two spots. We have a 9mm skewer up front which allows it to be fork mounted and then we have a rear wheel strap back here. Let's go ahead and get our bike off there. First thing we'll do is come back here to our rear wheel strap, we're just going to press on our button, and remove the strap. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we're doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint T-Track mounted, roof mounted bike rack. That part number is TH569. Now, we already have our bike in place. We're first going to show you how we secure that down, and then we'll go over some features. Here in the back we have our wheel cradle with our ratcheting strap. We're just going to push on that gray button there, and release that strap. Up at the front we have a skewer like you're going to see on a lot of your roof mounted bike racks. Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Thruride roof mounted bike rack. That part number is TH535. Now, we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over some features. So here in the back we have our adjustable wheel cradle. We're going to start by pushing on our gray button and pulling our strap through. The great thing about this cradle is that it actually can move up and down the length of our bike rack to accommodate different bike sizes. Then in the front we have our locking skewer. Now this is a little different than what you're going to see on most of your roof mounted bike racks because you actually can use this for a through axle bike. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we are doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Bike Rack. That part number is RBC035. Now we already have our bike in place we are first going to show you how we do that and then we will go over some features. The first thing you will see back here is a ratcheting strap to hold our back tire in place. The great thing about that strap is that it does move up and down the length of our bike rack. Here in the front we have a locking skewer to release that we are going to pull open and we're going to use this knob or the other side to turn one way or the other to loosen and tighten that skewer. We are able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. more
